LBDF는 ‘사진의 도서관’을 표방하며, 책을 통해 사진 매체의 다양성을 공유하는 공유공간입니다.




















Concept

작가의 작업에 영향을 준 레퍼런스를 소개합니다.


누구나 레퍼런스에 와서 책을 선택해 읽을 수 있습니다.


참여작가가 공유한 세 권 이상의 책은 작가별 섹션에 비치됩니다.

참여작가 및 레퍼런스는 대여 기간에 따라 유동적으로 운영됩니다.



대여 받은 책은 항온항습을 유지하며 별도의 북 커버링을 통해 보수적으로 관리됩니다. 
레퍼런스 모듈은 LBDF의 프로젝트에 참여하는 작가를 위한 공간으로, 작품과 관련한 서적을 기반으로 한 전시-라이브러리 운영의 시작 단계입니다.




The Reference Module presents reference books that the participating artists have found inspiration from.
Each artist shares three or more books, which then are displayed in each artist’s section.
The participating artist section and their reference books are flexibly organized according to the loan period.

대표 레퍼런스가 전면에 비치되어 있고, 흰색 패널을 열면 더 많은 레퍼런스가 있습니다.
모든 레퍼런스는 자유롭게 열람이 가능하며, 도움이 필요하시면 스태프에게 요청해주세요.
비치된 레퍼런스를 통해 작가의 관심사를 살펴볼 수 있습니다.

밑줄, 메모, 책갈피 등 작가가 남긴 흔적을 발견하며 이 레퍼런스가 작품에 어떤 영감을 주었을지 상상해봅니다. 



The main reference book is presented in front of each section on a white shelf.  The other reference books are placed behind the white panel.
All reference books are freely accessible, and at the petition, the staff offers further information.
The varying interests of the participating artists can be seen through browsing their references. For example, you can discover underlines, memos, and bookmarks that the artists have made, and imagine how the artist's work was influenced by browsing these traces.
